Mission of MMA
The mission of Master’s Men Africa is to mobilize Christian men to reach out to other men in their spheres of influence with the Gospel of Christ through opportunities that make men easily reachable such as business, sports and recreational retreats and thereby bring holistic transformation in our families and communities.
Method of MMA
Master’s Men promotes a specific method …not a program! Our method is a lifestyle that was modeled by Jesus when He walked on this earth. The Man and His method changed the world!
The Progress and Impact
Master’s Men Africa (MMA) mobilizes men into fellowships called Chapters that are situated in close proximities to where the men live and or work. The chapters meet on a weekly or fortnightly basis to study the bible together and pray for one another.
Current Chapters:
Ongata Rongai (Kajiado County), Nairobi Central Business District, Kayole and Kawangware in Nairobi City County, Bomet (Bomet County), Sipili (Nyandarua County), Bomet town (Bomet County), Baringo (Baringo County) and Tororo in Easter Uganda.
The chapter in Ongata Rongai has continued to reach out to non-Kenyan citizens studies in the local universities. Most men attending Ongata Rongai chapter come from South Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo. The Chapter in Tororo Uganda was birthed from a consistent relationship between MMA leadership and Bishop Julius Passy over a 5-year period. He eventually identified 3 men from his church and asked them to lead MMA in Tororo town. MMA sent a team of 5 men for a week-long mission at the end of 2025. These men helped strengthen the chapter by teaching and spending time with men in their community, work places and homes. MMA encourages men to intentionally and strategically branch out (in time) in order to reach out to other areas. Our Leadership and Discipleship training opportunities convene monthly in what is called Leadership Wednesday (meeting every 1st Wednesday of the month). It is during these times that we challenge men to evangelize and equip trainees with tools and skills to effectively reach out and lead teams. MMA hosts online fellowship every Thursday 5pm to 6pm Nairobi time which brings together men from different geographies with Africa and beyond. These men connect, learn, pray together and get to understand the mission of MMA with some of them developing interest in starting MMA physical chapters.
MMA also runs a young men’s outreach with the purpose of developing the next generation disciple-makers. These young men receive the benefit of being mentored by older men and become accountable prayer partners. As a result of these mentorship relationships, younger men have become more engaged in the fellowship, explore career opportunities and are guided through dating and engagement.
One of the greatest results of our ministry is to see men become engaged in their local churches. Many of the men have shared their testimonies on how being part of an MMA Chapter has helped them be intentional with their families, knowing that their families are their first calling and a vehicle through which God will reach our society. The chapter fellowships have become the platform for men to give their lives to Christ fully by denouncing their secret sins and growing in Christ.
Thank You
From all of us at Master’s Men Africa, we are grateful to our friends and partners who support us in prayer, giving and for mission trips to serve with us. As we move forward, we have calls to expand to the greater East Africa and beyond and hence covet your prayers and continued.
A Word About International Funding
The Master’s Men affiliate ministries in Africa and India are highly effective in expanding God’s kingdom where they have influence. It is our desire to help fund specific ministry expenses in Africa and India. It is no secret that the dollar (exchange rate) goes further in those countries than in our own. If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to the international ministry please click the menu tab and then “donate.” When the page opens click “choose a fund” this is where you will find MM International. Fill out the form, entering your payment method and you will be good to go! Greatly appreciate your investment in building noble men for God’s Kingdom!
